About Kim

I am trained as a clinical social worker and received my graduate degree from the University of Washington. In my work with patients, I draw on multiple theories of human development—attachment theory, self psychology, and the body's own way of holding experience. Just as no single theory fully explains a person, no single approach fully explains a problem. If something about your experience or the challenge you're facing isn't clear right away, we'll approach our inquiry from new directions until it is.

My clinical interests and affiliations include:

  • Relational psychoanalysis

  • Attachment theory

  • Modern Analytic Group Therapy

  • EMDR and other somatic approaches to trauma

  • Psychedelic integration

  • Member and Former Board Member, Northwest Alliance for Psychoanalytic Study

  • Former Courtesy Faculty, UW Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences

  • Member, Washington State Society for Clinical Social Work

While lasting change unfolds over time, from the start of our work together I'll share tools and coping skills you can use right away to help manage what feels most distressing.

I think of this work as endlessly creative and inspiring—I truly love what I do.

I look forward to hearing from you.
